The campaign is doing a good job showing the importance of combined arms, because it seems like every scenario IвЂ™m missing somethingвЂ¦recon units, armor, anti-air, etcвЂ¦ One was basically a gimme because I had a wing of F-4вЂ™s and I checked the attacking force and they literally had nothing with Anti-Air capabilities, so that was a bloodbath. Played 4 missions so far in the campaign, and manage to actually win 2 so IвЂ™m pretty pleasedвЂ¦although the two I lost I was obliterated in.

What about the transports? Do you usually move the transports out or leave them there for quick moves? So far they donвЂ™t do anything but get chewed up for me. IвЂ™ve been mostly on defense so IвЂ™ve just been planting them in city squares and sort of leaving them there. IвЂ™m also not completely understanding infantry yet. Are your supply units useless after you empty them? Want to make sure IвЂ™m not missing a way to resupply them because in a couple of the early defenses IвЂ™m burning through them very quickly with the reliance on artillery. Game is completely overwhelming to start, but IвЂ™m already having a blast.Д¬ouple of noobie questions though, I just dove right in and started on the Korean War campaign and a couple things IвЂ™m not grokking yet. IвЂ™m a little too slow for normal speed, becomes more stressful than enjoyable for me.

I had intended to go with ALB first, but the talk of the slower speeds in this one pushed me towards getting it instead, and so far IвЂ™m glad I did.
